  • This Week's Announcements!

    Nursing Home Ministry!
    Bingo is this week on Nov. 10th.
    Mr. Steve Choe's class will be going to Bingo this week but all are welcome to join.
    Please come to church by 1:30pm this Saturday!

    Movie Night!
    When? Friday, Nov. 9th at 7:30
    We will show two movies at the same time so you can pick which one you want to watch.

    Ministry Teams!
    Please sign up for ministry teams.
    Everyone must sign up and be a part of the ministry teams.

    Thanksgiving Sunday!
    On Nov. 18th, Thanksgiving Sunday, we will join the adults in worship at 11:00am in the main worship hall.
    We will still have the 10:00am bible studies.

    Winter Retreat!
    When? Dec. 27th - Dec. 29th (Thurs. - Satu.)
    Please let your parents know. We will have forms ready as soon as possible.

    ORCHESTRA!
    The youth group is participating in the Christmas Orchestra. If you are interested, there is a sign up sheet in the back of the youth group room. Contact Mrs. Hyun Jin Ro if you have any questions.

     

    There will be different ministry treams starting next week. Please consider joining and helping out with Youth Group. Everyone is encouraged to join a ministry team.

  • *~*~THIS WEEK!~*~*

    • (Sept. 8th) Block Party from 10am to 3pm
      Come get involved with our community! We will have a "yard sale" and have many performances! We will also be selling food! We need all the help we can get!


    • Pastor Scott and his family will be away in New York this week. Please pray for them to have a safe trip.


    • Our youth group will be starting up BINGO at the senior center again. Starting in October, our youth group will go on the second Saturday of every month. Expression will go in October and every other month after that to give a small performance. If you would like to perform, please let Pastor Scott know. All are welcome to join us in praising the Lord and serving the elderly!
      (If you need more incentive that that...you can get student service learning hours...and it also looks good on College Applications! )

  • Elder Hong Jun Kim's Passing

    Dear Calvary YG family,

    I am sorry to inform you that elder Kim went home to be with the Lord last night around 11pm.  Please pray for the Kims during this diffucult time that God's peace that transcends all understanding may rule their hearts.

    I would encourage you to come, if you can with your parents or with their permission, to the wake service tonight at 8pm (viewing starting at 7pm) at Calvary.  The funeral service will be on Thursday starting at 11:00 AM at Calvary also.  Come and comfort the family by just being there with them.  Also pray that the Lord's comfort and peace would be upon the family.
